Thomas Hunt: California Modernist is a landmark exhibition comprising about fifty paintings by the masterful, innovative colorist best known for coastal and harbor scenes; Etchings by Mildred Bryant Brooks is selected from the museum’s collection of works by Brooks, who was known especially for her landscape etchings; and Laurie Brown: Photographs documents mankind’s relationship to the landscape in its less comfortable forms, dwelling especially on zones that form a no-man’s-land between the man-made and the natural.
