Can art make a difference or persuade? Can art cause people to think and evaluate fact from fiction? Should we simply agree to disagree or should we stand up and do something?

These are just some of the questions Las Laguna Gallery asked artists to think about.

This November Las Laguna Gallery located on Pacific Coast Highway in Laguna Beach is attempting to tackle these questions and more with their “It’s Still Political” exhibition. Selected from hundreds of submissions around the globe this exhibition features works that deal with gun control, the opioid epidemic, religious rights, women rights, and politics.

Artists include: Jared Barbick, Jeny Brill, Kathryn Cirincione, Benita Cole, Richard Del Rosso, Phyllis Elson, Michael Farmer, Louis Herlihy, Michael Hubbard, Heather Kerley, David Kessler, Jeff Leedy, Broni Likomanov, Yvette Lopez, Melissa Maddox, Juan Mejias, Daniel Miller, Guy Munsch, Travis Roe, Juan Saenz, Sam Silberstein, Tony Song, Rebecca Spilecki, Naomi Spinak, Bob Tomolillo, Samantha Varela, Jessica Veen, and Cecily Willis

Quickly becoming one of the premier contemporary and fine art galleries in Laguna Beach, California; Las Laguna Gallery is dedicated to the exploration and engagement of contemporary and fine art visual culture – regionally, nationally and internationally; through unique collaborations between artists, students and the community.
