MEET OUR FEATURED ARTIST

Join us at Quorum Art Gallery on December 6th from 6 pm  9 pm for Art Walk and meet our featured artist of the month, Ellen Gladis.

From the way the leaves of a palm tree capture the light, or the way reflections dance on the water, to how a child’s smile can light up the day, Ellen captures these moments as they come to life in her versatile work.
After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts at Kutztown University in Pennsylvania, she pursued her California dream in picturesque Laguna Beach and now resides in inspirational Newport Beach.
The ability to see the world and those special moments in time, then transfer them to a wall or a canvas is Ellen’s gift. Her specialty is Realism/Impressionism, but her work is extremely versatile: from portraying her own worldwide travel experiences, to transforming hotels, restaurants, businesses and private custom homes with her magical touch. This includes Trompe L’Oeil, Murals, Decorative Wall Painting, Faux Finishes, Children’s Rooms, Portraits, Hand Painted Fabrics, and Custom Fine Art.

NUANCE PRESENTS LORI LANDRY
Thursday December 6th, 2018
6 – 9 PM

Stop by for Art Walk and stay for our Annual Holiday Party! We will have live music and light bites. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to Laguna Food Pantry.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

“I am a contemporary abstract artist residing in Southern California with an education and background in Depth Psychology and Expressive Arts Therapy. My roots stem proudly from Lafayette, Louisiana, where my love for God, family, nature and creativity first bloomed. I graduated from San Diego State University, then received a Master of Arts degree in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute and was certified in Expressive Arts Therapy. As an Expressive Arts Therapist, yoga teacher and mother of two young children, for several years I painted as a private release,

and was ultimately urged to exhibit my work.

My artwork evolves from an unfolding of the personal and the spiritual, and a journey of sinking beneath the surface of the evident. I yearn to reveal the beauty in the flawed, and the balance between embrace and surrender from a deeply connected perspective… My process is a call to trust, surrender and embrace what is revealed.”
